Wasp Control Wellington

Wasps are nasty insects who have no natural predators in New Zealand and compete for food sources with birds and other insects.  Wasps can be dangerous and if there is a nest that is making your feel uncomfortable, then it should be eliminated.

We treat wasp nests at their entrance and normally charge a flat fee of $95.  Please note:

• We do not locate the nest, this must be done by you before we arrive.  Sometimes wasps can travel a big distance so the nest may be many hundres of metres away.
• We do not remove the physical nest from the property, this is not needed it cannot be "re-used" by new wasps.
• On rare occasions when we require a second visit, we will not charg you a second time.

Wasps are a pest, bees are not.

Wasps are more of a bright yellow rather than the more orange colour of a bee, bees are also a bit plumper.  It is important to indentify if you have a wasp or a bees nest.  Bees are hugely important to us all and we will not eliminate a bees nest, if a bees nest is causing you danger please contact your local bee keeper, he or she will normally remove the nest for free.
